We Are About Giving Back
 
Our goal is to fund education and charitable events directly related to women who demonstrate business development need or who would benefit from specialized educational training and development opportunities. We would provide funding for speakers business events and workshops.

• Offer academic scholarships to students who qualify. The range of each scholarship shall be $25 to $15,000.
  
  
• Provide scholarship opportunities for those to attend and/or present at business conferences and leadership training activities upon request.
  
  
• Provide training and funding for women in business and entrepreneurs.

How We Do It

FRIENDS of NAWBO fundraise through events, grant submittals and support from individuals and corporations who are committed to women through education and professional advancement.

Who Qualifies

FRIENDS of NAWBO are committed to supporting women who are motivated and interested in business. Scholarship applications are available to women currently in post secondary education or entering into business. Applications are reviewed by the board and evaluated on the following criteria:

• Scholarships are available to female students at any college or university with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
  
  
• Women interested in business is a qualifier for those requesting a scholarship to attend an activity.
